| SUBSTRATE |
EVL produces a two component TMB substrate for use in combination with HRPO conjugated
materials. The two components remain fresh for more than two years when kept separate at room
temperature or at 4 °C. Once mixed, the substrate must be used within 40 minutes.
This unique formulation that offers high sensitivity and lower backgrounds ensures that you
always have ready-to-use substrate. The fast reaction rate (<10 minutes) of TMB permits online
kinetic analyses of enzyme activity. It produces a blue colour measurable at 650 nm or after
stopping the reaction with acid, the colour turns yellow/orange which is than measurable at 450
nm.
